Black Friday

Chad and I went shopping yesterday. Jennifer and I had gone shopping bright and early several times, and I'd gone by myself a few times. This was Chad's first go-round. He did fine until we made it to the mall. . . and the crowds make him nervous. He retreated to the car while I shopped for him.

I had my game plan ready, so I knew what I needed from where, if I needed a coupon, and if there were time restrictions. I don't typically go for the hot items, so that keeps me out of the way of the crazy people. We didn't get started until 10:00 either, which helped.

Sam's Club and Wal-Mart are always the worst places. We saved Wal-Mart for last--around 4:00, and it wasn't any worse than usual! I've discovered Sam's "Click & Pull" service, so I may never actually walk the aisles again. All I had to do was go online, make a list of what I needed, give them 24 hours, and they have all my stuff waiting when I arrive. Woo-hoo!!

I got all of my shopping done, and even threw in a couple of things for myself. :-) I showed Chad a few things that I liked so he'd have some ideas when he goes shopping weekend after next.
