So, what did you get from Santa?

I must have been better than I thought this year because Santa was good to me! We went to my parents' house yesterday morning and stayed all afternoon. Mom and Dad bought me an electric skillet, a decorative plate with birdhouses (kitchen is decorated with birdhouses), and a set of metal mixing bowls (mine were all heavy glass ones). I also got a box with $100 to spend on whatever I wanted. Next we went home and DH and I exchanged our gifts. My Christmas stocking had eyeglass cleaner, a bag of Hershey's miniatures, a bag of goldfish crackers, and a box of Altoid mints. My presents were a black purse, a large birdhouse picture, earmuffs (the kind that fit around the back of your neck), and a snowbrush/squeege/ice scraper combo. (I'm glad Santa heard me grumbling about having to scrape the windows.) This morning we had "santa" with my in-laws. Chad and I get a combination stocking, and we sort it out ourselves. This year we got some cashews, some peppermint bark, two flashlights (you shake them to get them to work--no batteries), a Boyd's bear, a DVD set of Three Stooges, a set of personalized guitar picks, and $150 in restaurant gift certificates. Chad got worried when he was passing out the gifts because I only had one gift and everybody else had a bunch of presents. I'm notoriously hard to buy for, so I got $300 cash. Hey! Money works for me!
