Happy New Year

Chad and I stayed in and watched TV this year. We were in bed around 10:00. I watched TV until around 1:30, but Chad fell asleep around 11:00. He said he was going to stay up and watch the ball drop, but I thought he'd probably not make it since he typically falls asleep pretty fast once he hits the bed. Poor guy woke up sick aroun 3:30. He and I are SOOO different when we're sick. I want people to leave me alone. He wants someone to stay with him, bring him water, or give him a cold washcloth. Of course, when anyone so much as gags in my presence, I'm done, so I head for the opposite end of the house and yell to see if he's doing OK.

He fell back asleep pretty fast, but I was up until around 4:30 watching TV again. He seems to be feeling better now. He went to church with me this morning, and he said he felt like he could eat some fries for lunch. He doesn't seem to have that nasty virus. He ate a LOT yesterday, so I think he just overdid it!
