No school!

We got a snow day today! Woo-hoo!! I really hate the snow days when I'm making them up in June, but I do enjoy them at the time. We needed one, too. Without snow days we don't have a single day off from MLK day until spring break, which is the first week of April. The kids really start to get on each other's nerves without a break for that long. (Truthfully, some of the teachers start to get on each other's nerves as well!)

I can't tell if we'll go tomorrow or not. There was snow overnight, and there was still some on the road when I went to town around 10:00 this morning. It's melting, but I'm not sure about the mountains. Guess we'll have to wait and see. There's always a chance that the kids won't go, but the teachers will work anyway.

I'll be out on Wednesday and Thursday anyway. Dad's having surgery on Wednesday, and I'll be driving him there. It's supposed to be outpatient, but just in case I'm taking Thursday off as well. I also have to go get my contacts checked that day.
