One more day. . . one more day. . . one more day. . .

I'm not so sure I can make it one more day at work. Kids do NOT do well off their schedules. They returned Tuesday after 2.5 days of "snow days" and a weekend to boot. THEN we're dealing with the usual "it's almost vacation" stuff. . . AND we had two assemblies today. Woo-hoo! If we'd had pictures and a fire drill today we could have had the entire package of interruptions. I didn't get a single planning period today. I think I did manage to go to the bathroom once.

When things aren't running smootly, I get irritable. . . and the kids don't always realize that means to GET IT TOGETHER before I flip out. I fussed and growled a good part of the day. (I had on my Christmas sweater, which is pretty ironic since I was "grinchy" all day.) At the assembly this afternoon, I asked a kid to be quiet. . . actually caught his eye and put my finger to my lips. As I turned around he called me a stupid b*tch. Grrrr. . .

Tomorrow is the school-wide auction. I shiver to think of it.

But on the good side. . . I get TWO WEEKS off! Whoo-hoo!!

I should have taken off my coat and hat. With the black shadow from the flash and my black coat, I look like a blob!
