Monthly Posting

It seems that I remember to post on here about once a month. I'd like to say that I don't post often because my life is so exciting that I rarely have time to use the computer. Sadly, that is not the case. Sigh.

I'm four days away from fall break, which means I'm almost finished with my first nine weeks of school. It seems like it's going fast this year. It always goes fast when I enjoy the kids I have. Those years with the "difficult" kids drag on forever. The kids are off school tomorrow. We have meetings all day. I'm dreading it because I'm the team leader for 7th grade AND the component leader for language arts (basically a department head) . . . which means that I get to lead BOTH of the big meetings tomorrow. I already know that some people will not like what I'm going to have to tell them to do. Ick!!!

I did one final picking from the garden tonight. I ended up with 8 sweet potatoes, 1 big tomato, lots of cherry tomatoes, a bell pepper, an eggplant, several carrots, and some green beans. Not bad, I suppose.
