Ready for School

OK, so I'm not ready for school to start yet, but my classroom is. I went out twice this week to work. My air conditioning wasn't on yesterday, and it was so damp that all my papers felt damp. Ick! It took me about eight hours to get everything done.

I'll have to get my textbooks put up later because the librarian still has to process them. I always clean out my file cabinets and closet the first week of school . . . after school in the afternoons. I run out of steam once I get my room together, and all the "straggler" stuff gets crammed back in the closet.

This year I had six storage boxes with no place to go . . . so I put them in two stacks, threw a shower curtain & table cloth on them--instant table.

Oh, my stand for my DVD player, VCR, laptop computer, and projector isn't in yet. I'm sure it will need putting together when it arrives. It goes in the middle of my room to use with my SmartBoard. And they haven't mounted my SmartBoard on the wall yet either. I really hope they get that done before school starts!

Geez, it's HOT!

I hate being hot. It makes me cranky . . . or MORE cranky than usual, anyway. The humidity makes me feel sticky all the time, and I hate that. Yuck!!

OK . . . enough complaining.
