New Haircut

I got my hair cut again.


Got it cut while I was sick . . . and not in the mood to fool with hair . . . and medicated.

"What are you in the mood for?" he says.

"Cut it all off!" I say.

And cut he did. Wow!! It's really, really short. I'm talking above the ears, not even though to tuck behind my ears. It's very, ummm, well, "butch" comes to mind. I actually have had my hair this short before, just not in awhile so it's going to take some getting used to.

The kids about had a heart attack! They did say they liked it . . . so they probably do considering they're pretty quick to say what they DON'T like. (After all, they did tell me that I looked like I'd gained 40 pounds when I had to wear my "too big" school shirt to work.)

Another good thing about this hair cut is that it takes about 5 minutes to wash, dry, and style.
