Self-Esteem

I've said this before . . . but the kids keep reminding me and I have to say it again.

If you're ever troubled by too much self-esteem, just hang around with 7th graders for awhile.

They got me twice today.

First, one of them sprayed that darned Axe cologne crap, and I started hacking and coughing. I could barely breathe, and my eyes were watering. One piped up and said, "Your nostrils are really big." I'm trying to breathe. Give me a break.

Second time . . . I framed the photo of me with Hal Sparks and have it on my desk with my other pictures. One of the girls was looking at it today and said, "Wow . . . that guy's cute. Is he your son?"

MY SON!?!

Good grief!! He's a year OLDER than I am.

My son, indeed!!

One asked me if Chad was my son once, too. At least he's younger than I am . . . but not THAT much younger.

Sigh . . .
