Wanna buy a CD?

Anybody want to buy a CD? I've got several to sell if you're interested. I'll be taking orders at work starting Monday. If you're one of my online friends, you can buy one from me as well. I take PayPal and have fast shippng--ebay queen!! ;-)

It's really a good CD--and I'm a rock fan, not a country fan, so that something coming from me, right? It's got three original songs and seven covers. Everyone who's gotten one so far has said it was good. (The English teacher in me is trying not to make a big deal out of the three typos on the back.)

Where did the week go?

Well, I have to go back to work on Monday. Actually, I've done a ton more physical work this week than I do at work, so I might get some rest when I go back. LOL

Here's a rundown of my week.

1. Finished two cross-stitch projects.
2. Went with Chad when he played Friday and Saturday nights.
3. Cleaned the porch and planted petunias & lilacs.
4. Worked in garden . . . cleaned flower beds, hauled dirt, planted onions, repotted houseplants, planted tomato seeds, cleaned bird feeders. Dad and Chad worked on lawn mower. Dad takes lawn mower home with him.
5. Checked 75 writing portfolios. Went to work. Dropped off folders.
6.Went to doctor appointment one. Stopped by Lowe's to buy new weed eater . . . ours died. Picked up bird seed. Filled bird feeders.
7. Worked on new cross-stitch project.
8. Put up all "real shoes" and got out all my sandals.
9. Went to doctor appointment two. Went shopping and bought two outfits.
10. Worked in the yard again. Chad mowed with the push mower--riding mower still being fixed. We also hauled dirt, cleaned out more flower beds, and burned leaves. Later we took Dad to the doctor. He's got the flu.
11. Did more cross-stitch. Watched two movies. Picked up my medicine in town. Picked up milk for Mom and checked in with Dad.
12. Planned on hiking, but the 40 degree weather kept us from that. I decided to rent Brokeback Mountain but it was out everywhere we went. We went to Wal-Mart for my parents. Chad stopped up the kitchen sink. We finally got it opened, but the kitchen was a mess--sink was leaking as well. Chad put in new shelf paper since we had everything out from under the sink anyway. I burned my arm with Draino.

Whew!!! I'm all ready to do my lesson plans and get back into my regular routine. LOL

Spring break is here!!

Woo-hoo!! Spring break is finally here!!!

Chad played this weekend, so we spend Friday and Saturday night in Harrodsburg. The time change really stinks when you're already out late and want to get up for church on Sunday.

I have two doctor appointments this week . . . one checkup and one test . . . but the rest of the time I'm pretty much doing whatever I want. Tomorrow my parents are coming over and we're working in the yard. Mainly Mom and I are going to get the garden ready while Dad and Chad pick up the million sticks and limbs in the yard. Since there are storms in the area, they might have even more to pick up tomorrow.

This afteroon I got the porch cleaned -- first good cleaning since last fall. I also planted some petunias and two lilac bushes. I got the lilacs from my MIL. The original plant belonged to Chad's grandmother, so I thought it would be nice to have some of it here.

Well, I guess I'll go watch the weather. It looks nasty out there!
