Oh yeah. . .

Ummm. . . oh, yeah. . . I've got a blog. Oops, kinda forgot about that.

Once I got back to work, I forgot to blog.

Here are a few updates. . .

I got a new group of sixth period kids after break. I'd had two gropus of sixth graders so far, and they'd both nearly made me crazy. (Did I mention that sixth graders are immature?) I've got 8th graders now. Specifically, I've got 19 8th grade girls and 3 boys. The poor guys never get a word in. Now, 8th graders aren't exactly overrun with maturity, but they're SOOO much better than large numbers of sixth grade boys. They actually READ today. I mean silent reading. I said to read and the READ. W00-hoo!

I only worked three days this week. We were off MOnday for MLK day, and we had a snow day on Wednesday. The bad thing is that when we only go for three days, the kids tend to pack all their weirdness into those three days.

I think I'm getting a cold. I'm kind of stuffed up, my ear hurts, and the roof of my mouth tingles when I sneeze. Oh, and nothing tastes right either. Yuck. Maybe the weekend will help get it out of my system.
