Family Health Update

Here's the medical update . . .

1. Chad's dad should be home by the weekend. His leg incision is infected, but they're giving him medication by mouth now. He's still getting tired, but they say he's doing well.

2. My dad is having trouble with arthritis in his arm, but he can't take his medication because it's harming his kidneys. It's some better, but it's still hurting him a lot.

3. The moms are doing fine!

4. Chad isn't in a panic about having his wisdom teeth out, but he doesnt' like it to be mentioned either. His appointment is on Monday for the consultation. I'll need to explain the extent of the "afraid of the dentist" problem before they start talking to him and completely freak him out.

5. This was the week I was supposed to have had my surgery--which I postponed until October since so many other things were going on. Today I was reminded WHY I wanted to have the surgery. I'll spare the details for the sake of any male readers. ;-)

6. All the goldfish are good. My dog is fine . . . just in need of a bath--he's pretty ripe. The "adopted dog" has a hurt leg. :-(

Relax!

Don't you wish you could relax like this?

Summer Haircut

I decided long ago that I know NOTHING about what kinds of hairstyles will work for my hair, so my answer to the question about what I want is now always . . .

WHATEVER

So, today my shoulder-length dark brown hair with the grown-out blonde highlights is now earlobe-length and dark auburn!

I always did like changing my hair around, but I'll admit that I've stopped short a couple of times today when I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. LOL Chad doesn't like it. Of course, he doesn't like it with any color on it at all. He likes my natural color . . . although I doubt I've had it that way much since he's known me.
